Visiting the website

Your browser sends technical information when it requests a page or file, including an IP address and request information. The website is hosted by Infomaniak. Hosting and error logs support delivery, troubleshooting and protection against misuse; they are not the same thing as an advertising profile.

Technical records can include the requested resource, request time, response status and browser information. We use information needed to provide the website, investigate failures and protect its operation. The hosting provider also processes technical information to operate and secure its service.

Listening to the stream

When you press play, your browser connects directly to live.icemoon.fm. The streaming service receives the IP address and technical information needed to deliver audio. Its front-end access log records the IP address, request time, method, requested path, response status, transferred bytes, request duration and browser user-agent. This assists operation and troubleshooting of the broadcast.

Stopping playback closes the listening connection, but does not immediately erase an existing server-log entry. Now-playing information is obtained by the website's server from the streaming service; it is distinct from the audio connection made when you play.

Preferences stored in your browser

The website uses local browser storage for these functions:

• icemoon-template: your visual-theme preference.
• icemoon-broadcast-visual-state: broadcast visual state shared between this website's tabs.

These values support the interface; they are not advertising identifiers. Local-storage entries have no automatic expiry in this implementation. You can remove them by clearing this website's stored data in your browser. Clearing them resets the relevant preferences. Disabling storage can affect these functions.

Where protected Comicarchivum access is enabled, a successful access-code login uses a signed, secure access cookie with a 12-hour lifetime. The cookie is restricted from ordinary page scripts and is not a marketing cookie. Without a configured and valid login, protected content remains closed. Administrative access is separate from ordinary public browsing.

Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we receive the information you provide, such as your address or number, your message and relevant correspondence. We use it to respond, deal with the request and keep necessary records of the exchange. Please include only information relevant to your request; do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents.

Service providers and external websites

Infomaniak provides the website hosting. The broadcast is delivered through the separately operated Icemoon streaming service. Access to operational information is for the operator and authorised service providers when needed to operate, maintain or protect these services.

External links, including Zazzle shop links, lead to services with their own privacy practices. Visiting this website does not place an order with them. If you follow a link, your browser connects to that provider and its privacy notice applies to that interaction.

We may need to disclose relevant information when required by applicable law or in responding to a properly authorised legal request.

Retention

Browser preferences remain on your device until you clear them or the browser removes them. A configured protected-access cookie expires after 12 hours.

The streaming front-end is configured for daily log rotation, retaining up to 14 rotated files. Rotation depends on the logging and rotation services actually running; this is not a guarantee that every record disappears exactly 14 days after a visit. Streaming-server logs and hosting-provider logs have separate retention settings.

We retain correspondence that leads to work, partnerships, collaborations or an ongoing relationship in our archive indefinitely, with no scheduled deletion. One-off enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted. Requests concerning your personal information are addressed under "Your choices and rights" below.

The streaming server also has its own log rotation. It is configured for weekly rotation with up to seven rotated log files, and separate size-based rotation can retain a previous .old file. These settings do not establish a fixed maximum age for every streaming-log record.

The applicable retention period for Infomaniak's Node.js hosting logs has not yet been confirmed. We have requested that information from the provider and will update this notice when it is confirmed. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for those provider-managed logs.

Your choices and rights

You can browse without starting the audio stream, stop playback, clear local browser storage, and choose whether to follow an external link or contact us.

Subject to applicable law, you can ask whether we process personal information about you, request access or correction, and request deletion or object to processing where the relevant right applies. Other rights, including data portability where applicable, are not excluded by this notice. Some records may need to be retained to meet a legal obligation or address an unresolved claim.

Contact us using the details above and describe your request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify that we are responding to the right person. You may also contact the competent data-protection authority; in Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Updates

We will update this notice if the website's actual data handling changes. The published page will identify its effective date. This notice is intended to describe the site's practices under applicable data-protection law, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection; it does not limit rights that apply to you under other mandatory law.
